Genesis 16-20 – December 25, 2011 at 2:57am

Reading Genesis I was struck by Abraham’s sin of saying his wife was his sister and, by doing such, he brought punishment down on someone who didn’t know a sin was being committed.   He not only sinned but he didn’t learn his lesson and he repeated the sin.   How many of us keep committing the same sin over and over? Gossip, adultery, lying, stealing….what will it take for God to get a hold of us so we can break free from that bondage?   Once it’s been conquered, it can be an amazing example to non believers the power God has!  MERRY CHRISTMAS my friends!!
